Joss Power is a more powerful binder than Makko Powder (which is also stocked), meaning it holds your incense ingredients together so that they can be easily molded into incense cones, or incense sticks. 

As a self-combusting material, you can also create loose incense blends to burn inside a fireproof bowl (on top of sand)

Joss powder is a 100% pure natural ground powder derived from the bark of Litsea Glutinosa, a tree that grows abundantly throughout Asia. 

Depending on your materials, Joss Powder can be used at around 6% to 15%. Joss powder works best with powdered woods/spices, allowing you to enjoy a stronger healing aroma of your chosen plant materials. When using tree resins, this will vary depending on the oil content of the resins, where I advise adding smaller quantities first, and testing they burn smoothly.
